In partnership with Mining Matters and the Canadian Ecology Centre, the Ontario Mining Association took educators to Agnico Eagle’s Detour Lake Mine, IAMGOLD’s Côté Gold Mine, and Impala Canada’s Lac des Iles Mine for a firsthand look at modern mining.
With the CIM Toronto Branch, the CIM x TIML Student Mine Tour gave post-secondary students a close-up view of innovation, sustainability, and career opportunities in Ontario’s mining industry.
