OMA Member Companies

The Ontario Mining Association is extremely proud to be of service to its member companies. These mining companies and mineral-related firms are the embodiment of Ontario's modern, high-tech, environmentally responsible mining industry. Mining is one of Ontario's most venerable, valuable and geographically inclusive industries.

The Ontario Mining Association's logo endeavours to represent this. The arc spanning the logo and going through the map of Ontario represents the range of mining - all Ontarians benefit from mining and mining takes place in all geographic areas of the province. The gold colour represents precious metals, while the blue stands for base metals and the grey for industrial minerals. These are the three main product categories of our member companies. The head frame and the tree are intended to show that production of the metals and minerals demanded by society is carried out in conjunction with and in regards to safety and environmental protection.
